Our Mission

Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida is committed to serving people with disabilities and disadvantages by offering life-changing opportunities to achieve independence.

Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida provides these services through four focused programs: workforce development, disability services, small business development, and affordable attainable housing.

Through the workforce program, Goodwill is helping to upskill our local workforce by providing no-cost employability training, digital literacy classes, and ESL classes.

With a focus on adult individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), Goodwill’s disability services provide life skills training and community engagement opportunities for adults with IDD, and help families connect to local services and state support.

As Southwest Florida’s economy is 90% driven by Micro Enterprises, Goodwill created the Micro Enterprise Institute which supports low-to-moderate-income individuals start or strengthen their own business.

We are proud to say that 94 cents of every dollar generated through our social enterprise goes to support our mission services.
