In Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River, and Okeechobee counties, Gulfstream Goodwill Industries provides housing, employment support, training, and reentry services for people facing serious barriers to independence. Your vehicle donation funds those programs directly. Proceeds go toward shelter and housing services, job readiness training, adult day training, supported employment, and programs for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. That makes the donation more than a financial gift. It turns one vehicle into practical resources for South Floridians working toward safety, stability, and a more independent future.

About Gulfstream Goodwill Industries

Founded in Palm Beach County in 1966, Gulfstream Goodwill Industries helps people facing barriers build a stronger path through housing, education, training, and employment. The organization began with 10 employees, 25 board members, two small thrift stores, donated trucks, and opened its first rehabilitation facility in 1968. Its work reaches people across Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River, and Okeechobee counties. Programs include homeless shelters, housing services, employment support, adult day training, youth and adult reentry, and services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. That makes each donation part of a larger local effort. Donated items, store purchases, and community partnerships all help create pathways for people working toward independence.

How Your Car Donation Helps

A donated vehicle becomes part of someone’s second chance in Palm Beach County and the surrounding region. Once sold, its value helps fund services such as:

  • Homeless Residential Services for individuals and families who need shelter, housing support, and resources for long-term stability
  • Career Academy of the Palm Beaches for students building job skills, confidence, and workplace readiness
  • Capabilities of the Palm Beaches for adults with disabilities who need training, employment support, and community-based services
  • Reentry and supported employment services for youth and adults preparing for work, rebuilding stability, or moving forward after justice-system involvement

Gulfstream Goodwill’s 2023 Annual Report shows the scale of that work: 1,152 individuals with barriers secured employment, 22,181 training hours were provided, and more than 100,000 nights of safe shelter were offered.
