Goodwill Industries of Northern Illinois is a nonprofit organization serving communities throughout Northern Illinois through workforce development, education, employment services, and supportive programs designed to help people improve their lives. The organization funds many of its mission programs through donated goods that are sold in its retail stores and online operations. In addition to job training and employment services, Goodwill Northern Illinois operates career centers, supported employment programs, educational initiatives, and innovative programs like The Excel Center®, an adult high school that helps adults earn a high school diploma while preparing for career advancement. These services help individuals gain the skills, credentials, and confidence needed to achieve long-term success.
