About Morgan Memorial Goodwill Industries
Morgan Memorial Goodwill Industries has been part of Massachusetts since 1895, when Rev. Edgar J. Helms started collecting unwanted household goods, repairing them, and selling them at low prices to create work opportunities for people who needed a chance.
That idea still drives the organization today.
Based in Boston, with job training centers in Beverly and Springfield, Morgan Memorial Goodwill focuses on helping people who face barriers to employment. That includes individuals with disabilities, people with limited income, English language learners, and others who need extra support getting into the workforce.
Their work is practical, local, and centered on one clear belief: people don’t need charity as much as they need a real chance to move forward.
