There is a lot of competition these days for charity organizations, and while many of them have a system of accepting goodwill car donations comprised of old clunkers, some encourage donating car parts as well.

Whole cars are naturally preferred, as you can make a lot more money from an entire vehicle than you can from separate parts...

The donation of car parts and other automotive merchandise is something definitely worth considering.  This is especially true if you don't have much to give.

There is the positive feeling that comes from helping out those less fortunate than you, but you can also obtain a tax deduction based on the value of the items you donate.

And at the very least, your goodwill car donation of car parts will help clean out some of the clutter in your home and garage.
